Welcome to South house, and we hope you enjoy your time in Shetland . We're here to help in any way we can.
South House is a quirky Shetland Croft house which sits on the southern shores of Ronas Voe, 50 yards from a beach and ruins. There are fabulous views over Ronas Hill
Previously Scottish Tourist Board 3 stars.
Getting there
The nearest airport is at Sumburgh, about 65 miles away. Planes come in here from Orkney/Edinburgh/Glasgow and Aberdeen. British Airways from London and Flybe from Scottish Airports and a summer service from Norway.
Hire car is fairly essential. Bolts and Star rentacar locally.
There are buses form the airport to Lerwick where there are two buses a day to Northmavine stopping about 2 miles from the house.
There is also a ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick daily ,13- 14 hours provided by Northlink Ferries
We have a new property which has been completely renovated to a high standard in a 18th century barn in Hillswick.. The Old Sea Barn
